Eastern Iowa Honor Flight recently recognized Washington County Veterans Affairs for the work they did in organizing the Washington County trip.

Sue Rich with Veterans Affairs says that at last week’s board of supervisors meeting, representatives for the Honor Flight presented them with the flag that flew over the capitol the day of the trip and a certificate of recognition. She says they will be prominently displayed in their office.

She adds that any of the 78 Veterans that took part in the trip can contact her office at (319) 653-7768 to get their free DVD of the trip.
