County Reevaluates Estimated Payoff Date for TIF District

[1]The Washington County Board of Supervisors heard the status of their TIF district at today’s meeting. County Auditor Dan Widmer shared some specific figures that are included in the county’s Annual Urban Renewal Report. He told the board that the original estimated payoff date was in 2018, but it’s now projected they’ll pay it off by 2015. The Tax Increment Financing district mostly affects the Riverside Casino and goes to pay off Riverside’s water plant.
