Salaries for elected officials will be considered at a Washington County meeting tomorrow. Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer says the Washington County Compensation Board will meet in the supervisor’s chambers at the courthouse to establish salary levels for elected County officials. The Board is directed by Iowa Code to recommend proposed salaries each fiscal year for supervisors, sheriff, auditor, treasurer, recorder and attorney.
