Title: Silo Ice Climbing
Description: Louisa County youth are invited to join Louisa County Conservation for Silo Ice Climbing. The group will be traveling to Cedar Falls on Saturday, January 5th from 7am to 4pm. This is one of 12 events in their new “eXtreme Adventure” series for 2013. Registration is required and space is limited. For more information or to register call 319-523-8381.

Title: Breakfast with Santa
Description: Breakfast with Santa is being held December 1st from 10 to 11am at Brighton Community Center. Children will be able to enjoy breakfast while chatting with Santa. The event is free and all children are welcome.

Description: Winfield’s SELAH presents in concert A Victorian Stroll at Christmas will be held at the Winfield First Presbyterian Church on Sunday, December 9th starting at 3:30 pm. Refreshments will follow in the fellowship hall.

Title: One Man Play at Washington Public Library
Description: Washington Public Library will host Broadway actor Duffy Hudson on Friday, December 14th at 7pm. He will be presenting “The Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Yet to Come.” Duffy will bring play all 46 characters without props or costumes in this rendition of The Christmas Carol. The event is free.

Title: Ainsworth’s “Old Fashioned Christmas”
Description: Ainsworth’s “Old Fashioned Christmas” is being held Saturday, December 15th from 5 to 8pm at the Ainsworth Opera House. A free will donation will be accepted for the meal of hot dogs, chips and cookies. There will be cookie decorating, ornament making and caroling through town on a horse drawn wagon. Proceeds benefit Ainsworth Fun Days.
