Graveside services for 81 year old Ernest Williams of Memphis, Tennessee will be held at noon Friday, November 30th at the Sharon Hill Cemetery in Kalona. The Peterseim Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.

Celebration of Life Services for 89 year old Thomas Jefferson “TJ” Berdo of Washington will be held at 1:30pm Saturday, December 15th (12/15) at the United Methodist Church in Washington. Military Honors will be conducted by Washington American Legion Post 29. Visitation will be held from 12:30 until 1:30pm Saturday, December15th (12/15) at the United Methodist Church. Private family interment will take place at Elm Grove Cemetery at a later date. Memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church, the Washington Public Library and the Halcyon House Library. The Jones & Eden Funeral Home is assisting with the arrangements.
