The Washington Area Ministerial Association has their annual Thanksgiving service this evening. First Baptist Church pastor Darryl Carr says that several local church leaders will be involved in the service.  It won’t exactly have a sermon.  Instead, the evening will center on a few scripture readings and music that expresses thanks.  The service is also a way to accept donations to the Friendship Emergency Fund.  That’s money distributed by  HACAP to local families in need. The service tonight is at 7 at First Baptist Church.
