Washington’s downtown community center has been fundraising and they are hoping to increase participation. Central Park Community Center Supervisor Max Cousins says there are a variety of ways they get funding, but the best way he sees to ensuring their finances is to get more people to realize what they have: that includes computers, books, and events. They had  a fundraising soup supper last week.  The space is not just for senior citizens; it’s open to anyone 18-years or older.
