A murder trial continues today at the Washington County Courthouse. County Attorney Larry Brock tells KCII News that character witnesses for the defendant will go to the stand today. The defendant is Thomas Hansen of Riverside, who’s accused of shooting Sharon Gerot at their home in May of 2011. Brock says he expects closing arguments to come tomorrow morning.
