City of Washington Out of Industrial Space

Washington city staff and elected officials are looking to address what appears to be a need for more industrial space in the city. The City Council recently reiterated the idea that there are no industrial lots currently available.
In a goal-setting session, the council briefly discussed the concept of a new industrial park on the southwest side of town near the waste water treatment plant.
City Administrator Brent Hinson says there are a number of advantages to development in that area.
