New Way of Finding Election Information Available

[1]A way to find information regarding next month’s election is available for certain cell phone users. Iowa Secretary of State Matt Schultz says this application allows individuals to complete voter registration, request absentee ballots as well as find their polling location.
Washington County Auditor Dan Widmer says he is in favor of things like this that make it easier for people to take part in the elections.
The free app is available to Android and iPhone users as well as for the iPad. Widmer notes actual voting whether it is absentee or on Election Day will still need to be done in person.
