It’s out with the old and in with the new at North Park in Wellman. According to City Administrator, Nick Pacha, several small pieces of old and outdated playground equipment is being replaced by one large integrated piece.

The new play system is being purchased from Playcraft Systems out of Bettendorf for $20,000.

The City will be using funds from the Washington County Riverboat Foundation Quarterly municipal grants, with matching funds from the Wellman Rotary club and a District Rotary grant.
