The 3A state volleyball starts tonight for Mid-Prairie.

The Golden hawks are 6-3, and meet up with the No. 1 team in the state Mediapolis in the first round.

Mid-Prairie has 5.63 kills per set, and have committed more attack errors than successful attacks this season.

Mediapolis is a perfect 39-0 with 10.79 kills per set and 2.83 aces per set. They won the Southeast Iowa Superconference, a conference filled with 1A schools and a couple of 2A schools.

Mid-Prairie and Mediapolis play in Mediapolis tonight at 7 P.M.
