A local history teacher is weighing in on last nights presidential debate. Mid-Prairie High School History teacher, Pete Cavanaugh, says that he felt both President Barack Obama and Governor Mitt Romney did a good job of articulating their stances.

He shares that he appreciated the discussion on the past four years on what’s been done and what hasn’t in terms of healthcare, jobs and education.

He adds that Governor Romney did better than he expected, but otherwise it was a pretty even debate.
