Fairfield Woman Arrested Near Brighton

[1]A Jefferson County woman is behind bars after a traffic stop near Brighton. Around 9:20 last night, personnel from the Washington County Sheriff’s office pulled over a vehicle on Highway 1 near the Skunk River Lodge.
According to information from the Washington County Safety Center, arrested was 20 year old Cherie Adaling Gemein of Fairfield for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana with the intent to deliver and introducing a controlled substance into a detention facility.
She was transported to the Washington County Jail. KCII will bring you more on this story when it becomes official.
