Veterans and Guardians Ready Go on Next Week’s Honor Flight

Many area veterans and guardians are ready to go on next week’s Honor Flight. During a meeting yesterday, there was a full house that learned what is happening during the day. Representatives from Eastern Iowa Honor Flight were on hand to answer any last minute questions as well as make sure all last minute details have been finalized.
A special send off rally is being held at the Washington High School next Monday afternoon at 2:30 and the public is encouraged to attend. The flight next week will be the fourth one taking off from Cedar Rapids this year and is the first one that has ever been dedicated to just Washington County area veterans.
