Stabbing in Ainsworth Leads to Arrest

[1]Cristina Baltazar BautistaA woman from Louisa County is in jail after a stabbing incident in Ainsworth. According to the Washington County Safety Center, a call was received around 1:20 yesterday afternoon from a female subject in a residence saying someone had broken a window and had a knife. The victim who was stabbed in the arm was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Arrested was 44 year old Cristina Baltazar Bautista of Columbus Junction for burglary in the 1st degree and willful injury. Those responding to the scene were the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Ainsworth First Responders. KCII will bring you more information on this story as it becomes official.
