The City of Riverside is looking at the speed limit on HW 22. According to City Administrator Russell Rogerson, there are concerns about the speed limit on HW 22 at the intersection of US 218.

He says residents have claimed they’ve been close to getting in an accident, either when someone has been pulling out of the Kum & Go gas station or slowing down to turn into the station.

Rogerson shares that the City has no authority over the roadway and has contacted the DOT. He adds the DOT will have to study the area to determine if a change is needed.
