A Celebration of Life Service for 87 year-old Richard A. Pate of Kalona will be held at 11:00 Wednesday at the Peterseim Funeral Home in Kalona.

A time of food and fellowship will follow at the Kalona United Methodist Church. Family will greet friends from 10:00 until service time at the funeral home and at the Kalona United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall after the service. A memorial fund has been established for the Pleasantview Home or Iowa City Hospice. The Peterseim Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
