Title: Washington Homecoming Parade in Brighton
Description: A Washington High School homecoming parade will take place down the Brighton Main Street on Thursday, September 13 at 9 a.m. The parade will include Senior Athletes, cheerleaders, the marching band, and the 2012 WHS homecoming court.

Description: The Washington FFA is holding a Field Day at the Land Lab located north of Washington on West 18th Street. FFA members will have the field ready to observe on Wednesday, September 19, from 3-6 p.m. Refreshments will be served.

Title: All American Care Carnival
Description: All American Care of Washington is holding a carnival on Friday, September 14th, from 3 to 5pm at 601 East Polk. There will be games, food and prizes. A freewill donation will be accepted for the food.

Description: Pheasants Forever is hosting a free youth hunt at Highland Hideaway Hunting Preserve in Riverside on Sunday, October 7th, at 1pm. Youth must be between the ages of 12 and 17 and have a Hunter Safety certificate. To Register call Bob at (319)461-0341.
