IMS Drops First Round Match to Holy Trinity Catholic at Superconference Tournament

The IMS volleyball team dropped their first round game this weekend at the Southeast Iowa Superconference tournament.

IMS opened play with No. 2 Holy Trinity and lost 25-20 and 25-12.

Olivia Yutzy put up seven kills, while Casey Perez set up just 10 points and Kristin Davis had 15 digs.

Head coach Cindy Miller says the team played very well, and that Davis and Yutzy both did a great job of keeping as many attacks from Holy Trinity from hitting that ground as possible.

IMS plays L-M tomorrow.
