Henry County Sheriff’s Office is continuing its effort to keep motorists safe. In conjunction with the Iowa Governor’s Traffic Safety Bureau grant, the Sheriffs Office conducted two seatbelt surveys in late August.

One of the surveys was carried out on Highway US 34 west of Mt Pleasant and the other one was conducted on HW 218.

According to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, both surveys showed over 99% of motorists in the county were using their seatbelts.
