A week recognizing service to older Iowans is happening in Washington.  Lending Hands Adult Day Services Director Susan Wellington says Adult Day Services Week is to raise awareness of the specific services that can be provided.

She says these day programs are for people who have difficulty accomplishing daily tasks, experience isolation, or are in a place where it’s not safe for them to be alone during the day.
