The City of Wellman will utilize temporary help while trying to fill a vacancy. The city has hired an independent contractor to perform the duties of Public Works Director. The City is also considering hiring a contractor, People Services Inc, to find someone to fill the position. According to City Administrator Nick Pacha the Council is strongly considering going with the service and will make a formal decision at their next City Council meeting. Pacha adds going with People Services would provide the city an estimated savings of up to $15,000.
