Washington County Resident Honored by Iowa Peers

Kirkwood Community College Trustee Karen Gorham was chosen as the winner of the Diversity/Equity Award by the Iowa Association of Community College Trustees. Gorham has been representing Washington County as a Kirkwood Trustee since 1996.
She was also recognized for her long-time service to the Latino community and other immigrant populations in Washington County. Gorham is the first recipient of the Diversity/Equity Award.
