New Y Director Starts Today

[1]Becky Harkema Photo Courtesy: Northern York County Maine Family YMCAA Washington County organization is welcoming their new director today. Becky Harkema comes to Washington with over 20 years of experience. Harkema started her association with the Y in Des Moines before traveling to Fort Worth, Texas, St. Louis, Missouri, Ottumwa and at the Northern York County YMCA in Maine.
Wanting to be with family prompted her move back to Iowa. She adds she has a passion for running and would like to bring a half-marathon to the area in the future. Harkema’s first day at the Y is today.
