After its success last year, the Kalona Celebration will be held again tomorrow. According to City Administrator, Ryan Schlabaugh, the festival was held last year as a way to open and dedicate the new downtown.

He adds the positive response last year led the City Council to decide to hold it again. Events include the Tour de Kalona, with the choice of a 1 or 3 mile bike ride, the Bunker Mill Fun Run and lots of activities for children.

The day starts in the afternoon with registration for the bike ride at 2 and ending with a free outdoor kid’s movie at 8.
