Drought Conditions in Southeast Iowa Remain Poor
Posted: August 3, 2012 @ 6:30 am In Today's Local News
The latest drought conditions are still showing southeast Iowa as extremely dry. According to the most recent drought information from the National Climatic Data Center the small amount of rainfall coupled with temperatures in the 90s last week haven’t improved the moderately to extremely dry conditions in our part of the state.
No relief is expected in the near future as the drought is forecasted to remain or get worse through October. KCII will continue to monitor the drought conditions across southeast Iowa.
