Posted: August 12, 2012 @ 6:26 am In Today's Local News
A document with proposed road projects up for government funds is now available for review. The Iowa Department of Transportation has released its draft of the 2013-2015 Iowa Statewide Transportation Improvement Program or (STIP).
It can be reviewed at Iowa DOT district offices or at their website. The draft shows all of the proposed projects that will be authorized for federal money. A meeting for public comments is being held in Ames on the 23rd, but you can also mail in written comments.
Projects in Washington and surrounding counties include pavement widening and rehabilitation, bridge replacement and repair and the paving of trails. Below you’ll find a link to the draft.
