An annual event is returning to downtown Washington this weekend.
Amy Vetter with Main Street Washington says Celebrate Washington is an event that offers a chance to show others who Washington is as a community.  The event contains an art show, kids’ activities and local entertainment. A street dance is part of the headlining entertainment taking the stage from 9 pm until midnight.

Vetter says Celebrate Washington is a signature event for the city, designed to attract residents and visitors into the community for a full day.  Celebrate Washington is Saturday beginning at 8:00 am and ending at midnight.
