An Alive After Five event is being held tonight to celebrate a new business.  Michelle Peiffer from the Washington Chamber says an Alive After Five offers businesses a chance to host an open house or a chance to show appreciation to their customers.  Peiffer says this also provides a good opportunity for people to introduce themselves, find out more about the business and to establish relationships in the community.

These events are usually every other month, Peiffer notes, but because of the positive response from those that attend them, there is one scheduled each Tuesday for the next couple of months.  Tonight’s event is happening at a different time than normal – between 4:00 and 6:00 at Car Doctors, LLC on West Madison in Washington.
