Washington County Fair to Crown Queen Tomorrow

[1]2011 Fair Queen Shawna Sieren Photo courtesy: Stutzman Studios, Washington.The Washington County Fair is getting ready to kick off tomorrow with the biggest event being the crowning of this year’s Queen. 2011 reigning Queen Shawna Sieren says the contestants will be judged about their resume and involvement in 4-H, be part of group interviews on current topics as well as have a dinner with the judges and Miss Iowa before the competition.
She adds a Fair Princess is chosen as well as a person being chosen Miss Congeniality. The Queen Contest begins at 7:00 tomorrow night with the 4-H Clothing Revue and 4-H Senior Recognition happening during the Intermission.
