A few residents on the south side of Washington experienced a power outage this morning. According to Justin Foss with Alliant Energy, the outage started about 8:00 affecting 39 customers. He says crews were investigating the cause, but they believe it to be an animal or equipment failure caused the outage. All power was restored by 11:00.
