The proposed mini park in Kalona is making progress. City Administrator Ryan Schlabaugh tells KCII that the City is working with private donors to see exactly how much money will be donated, so they can set up the budget.

The private donors are individuals with personal ties to the property on B Avenue and would like to be involved the projects development. Schlabaugh adds that they will also sit down with the donors to decide how to properly recognize them.
