Excessive Heat Warning In Effect

[1]An Excessive Heat Warning is in effect for all of southeast Iowa through Saturday morning.
This warning issued by the National Weather Service means hot and humid conditions will be seen starting today and continuing through Friday and possibly into the weekend.
The humidity combined with the temperatures in the 90s will make the heat index values between 105 and 110 during the day and they may not drop below 80 at night.
You should drink plenty of water and limit outdoor activities during the day.
