The Washington Demon baseball team dropped a game to Solon last night, but with the split on Monday with Ft. Madison they had something better happen to them.
Keokuk swept Ft. Madison last night giving the Demons a co-conference championship, after having the best second half of conference play in the conference.
The Demons fell 8-6 to Solon, and will play Fairfield on Friday for the first round of the sub-state playoffs.
