Repair work on a railroad crossing is causing a closure of part of a road in Washington next week.  J.J. Bell, Superintendent of the Maintenance and Construction Department for Washington says the crossing on North 4th Avenue will be closed for about a week for repairs to the crossing and the sidewalk.

This closing begins Monday and the road will reopen on Friday.  Anyone wanting to know more information can contact the Maintenance and Construction Department at 319-653-2947.
