Mid-Prairie School District held a learning conference last week.

Learning in the 21^st Century was a week long conference that featured many notable speakers, with topics ranging from technology to bringing passion to the classroom.

The conferences purpose was to give participants fresh ideas that they can incorporate into their teaching. 118 teachers attended the conference from ten different school districts. Teachers came from Washington, WACO, Highland and as far away as Mt Vernon.

According to Superintendent Mark Schneider the conference was well received.
