Earlier this week the pairings were released for the baseball sub-state pairings were released for 1A and 2A.

On the 2A side Mid- Prairie faces Cardinal at 5 p.m. In Eddyville, WMU will play L-M in Wapello at 5 p.m. And Columbus will face Central Lee at 7 p.m. In Wapello. All three of these games will be played on July 7.

On the 1A side of things, on July 10, Highland hosts IMS at 7 p.m., and Lone Tree will play the winner of Danville and Holy Trinity in a game at 7 p.m. in Danville.

Also in 1A Keota will travel to Pekin to play Harmony on July 7 at 7 p.m. and Sigourney will travel to Pekin on July 10 to play Tri-County at 5 p.m..

Baseball will start after softball who’s regional tournament is coming up in the next week with KCII’s first game on Monday with Lone Tree hosting IMS on at 7 p.m., you can hear all of the action of play-off softball on the one to count on AM and FM KCII and KCIIradio.com. Mid-Prairie hosts Williamsburg on Tuesday at 7 p.m. and Washington will start their run at a state birth on July 7, when they host the winner of Davenport North and Mt. Pleasant.
