Once again the Kalona Chamber of Commerce is looking for adoptee’s for the hanging plants in downtown.

This will be the third year the 36 hanging planters will be up for sponsorship. The cost is twenty dollars and all the proceeds go directly to the nursery that provides the flowers. Manager of the Chamber of Commerce, Norma Yoder says she’s gotten quite a few responses. And when it comes to watering your adopted planter don’t worry about it, Yoder notes that each of the light poles has a built in irrigation system.
