Today is the last day the Soles for Souls project is accepting shoe donations.
Highland High School Student Morgan Fisher started this project when she came across information about it on the Internet.  She says almost 3900 shoes have been received so far.

The shoes will be sent to Sheldon before being distributed to other parts of the country and around the world.  Today is the last day to make a donation at one of the drop off boxes located around Washington.  The following locations have drop boxes:

Washington Library – by the circulation desk

Fareway – inside door by the grocery baskets

Washington Y – by the registration desk

Bodywrx – by the registration desk

HyVee – by the customer service desk
