The Washington City Council is meeting tonight and as part of the meeting, they will hold discussion regarding several ordinances.  The first will be the second reading of an ordinance to amend the city code for the adoption of the 2011 Electrical Code.  The second will be to accept bids and award a contract for this year’s seal coat project.

This project will be to allow different amounts of coating on the streets based on traffic flow.  A first reading of an ordinance to allow golf carts on city streets will take place as well.  Tonight’s city council meeting will be in the old public library beginning at 6:00.
