The second half real estate and mobile home taxes are due by the first of next month.  Washington County Treasurer Jeffrey Garrett says you can make payments in different ways.  He says you can pay in person, mailed, deposited in the drop box at the Courthouse, or paid online.

Garrett says statement coupons must also be submitted with the payment.  He says there is a penalty of 1 1/2% rounded to the nearest dollar is attached to every parcel and goes up by that same percentage every month.
