If you like to fish then you should be worrying about the Asian Carp. Not for fear of getting hit by a flying fish, but the Asian Carp strangles other sport fish. But mother nature may be coming to the rescue. The breeding habits of the Asian Carp could make them lazy, and eventually lead to lower populations.

Washington Relays On For Today

After being postponed twice, the Washington Relays are set for today at 4:00.  The outdoor track meet held by Washington High School was washed out Thursday and Friday last week causing head coach Steve Roth to postpone the event until today.

Exit Exams for High School Students

Under a reform package passed by the House, students graduating High School would have to take exit exams in English, Algebra, Biology, and History. It hasn’t been decided if the exams would prevent a student from passing a course or graduating, or if the exam would factor into the students grade in that course.
