The Iowa Basketball Coaches Association has announced their 2012 Academic All-State team and two area players were selected out of the over 150 nominations.

Washington’s Brock Kimball and Keota’s Trevor Draisey were part of the team that carries a composite ACT score of 30.5 and an average GPA of 3.99 while scoring 15.6 points-per-game.

Just to be nominated for the Academic All-State team players must have a minimum 25 ACT composite score, a 3.25 GPA, and rank in the top 25% of their senior classes.
