The List of 100 great nurses in Iowa for 2012 has been released and two nurses from our area made the list this year. Joyce Kron-Chalupa from Wellman, who works at the Iowa City Veterans Healthcare System, has made the list.

Monica Wesely with Southeast Renal Dialysis, from Mt. Pleasant, made the list as well.

The list honors those nurses who have shown courage, competency, and commitment to their patients. They will be honored in a ceremony in Des Moines on May 6th.
