Funnel Week has come to an end for State Lawmakers. Funnel week is a deadline set for any bills hoping to get passed. The bills must make it out of committee by the end of the week to be debated on the House or Senate floors. Some bills to pass committee this Funnel Week were the K2 Bill, which puts broad restrictions on synthetic drugs, a bill requiring business owners to use the E-Verify Program to screen new employees, and an education reform package. This week will be busy for lawmakers too, its when they will start to debate all of the bills passed through committee in the full House and Senate.
