Highland Wrestling Drops Four Over Weekend

Highland took part in the Dave Steinkamp Duals this weekend but struggled in their four matches. The Huskies lost to Turkey Valley 54-30 and fell to Sumner-Fredericksburg 47-30. East Buchanan topped Highland as well by a count of 52-22 and lost a close match-up 45-36 to Jessup. Individually, the Huskies’ Travis Cole (113) won all four bouts by fall. Kody Wood (120) and Jess Hahn (132) each went 3-0 with two pins. The Huskies are back on the mats Thursday against Columbus Community and West Burlington/Notre Dame.
