Washington, IA – The Washington Demons boys and girls basketball teams each earned wins Saturday night in the annual Coaches vs. Cancer Shootout with the girls topping the Tigers 50-40 and the boys winning 72-55.

The Demon girls got 13 points from Lauren Vittetoe and Regan Enfield poured in 11 as Washington improved to 9-2.  The boys had four scorers in double figures with Colin Steele’s leading the way with 19 as the Demons improved to 7-4.  Kyle Roder and Brock Kimbal each dropped in 12 with Dillon Redlinger posting 10 points on the night.
