Those who are members of Washington County’s Local Emergency Planning Committee, hospital employees, and public health personnel are invited a training session focusing on emergency preparedness and response for public health emergencies.  Edie Nebel with Washington County Public Health says there will be an Iowa Preparedness and Response Training Summit next year that will focus on topics like being personally prepared, food safety and ethics in disasters.  The conference will be in Des Moines in April.  For more information, contact Washington County Public Health.
