School Enrollment Numbers Released

Mountain Lions in Iowa

Officials shot a mountain lion in Western Iowa last week. Mountain Lions are no longer common in Iowa, although they were before Iowa was heavily settled.

Robert Waldschmidt

Funeral Services for 77 year old Robert Waldschmidt or Riverside will be held at 10 am on Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Riverside. Visitation will be Thursday from 4 to 7 pm at the Sorden Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services in Riverside; with a prayer service at 7pm. Burial will be in the Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Riverside with a time of food and fellowship at St. Mary’s Parish Center afterwards.

Tanner Miller Joins PM Sports Page Wednesday

Garage Sale

-Cabin Fever Garage Sale will be held January 13 & 14 at the Kalona Chamber of Commerce.  Donations may be dropped off at Kalona Furniture now or at the Chamber January 12th.  Proceeds go to promoting Kalona.  Hours for the sale are 8am-2pm on both days.
